Hi Cliff, Windows ships with Syriac keyboard layouts but MacOS doesn't yet: there is a detailed explanation of Mac Syriac fonts and keyboard layouts on the site -- once a keyboard layout is copied to /Library/Keyboard Layouts (might be necessary to restart the system), it can be selected like any other keyboard layouts on a Mac.
