Outlook For Mac Attach Email
NOTE: This document applies to Outlook 2016 for Mac, released in late 2015. You can send files and folders by attaching them to an e-mail message.
When you attach a folder, Outlook compresses the contents of the folder into a single.zip file.Before you attach a file, please review for information about the types and sizes of files that can be send using Office 365. • In your message, on the Message tab, click Attach. • Locate the item or folder that you want to attach, select it, and then click Choose. If you are attaching a folder, on the confirmation dialog box, click Compress. Notes • A list of the attachments to the message appears below the Subject box.
If you want to attach an email to another email, there are two options you can try: Right click the email you want to attach, choose Forward As Attachment. (For contact, choose Forward as vCard) Drag the email you want to attach to the desktop directly and open a new email > Attach file > choose the email in desktop. Accessing Outlook for Mac data in MS Outlook when it uses Exchange account When the Outlook for Mac is a client of Exchange, its data is available on Exchange Server too. MS Outlook can be configured to connect to this mailbox from Windows environment.

Attachment previews are available for many file types, such as Microsoft Office documents, photos, and PDF files. You can see each page of a multi-page document, and see a collection of photo attachments as a slide show. • Open the message or view it in the reading pane. • Next to the list of attachments, click Preview or Preview All. The first attachment is displayed in the preview window.
• Use the controls at the top of the preview window to view the attachments. Options include opening the preview window in full screen, skipping to the next attachment, viewing all attached documents, and opening the document. • For more options, click Open with Preview at the top of the window, and use the controls at the top of the new preview window to interact with the attachments.
